Grapes Grapes Designed, folded, and photographed by Mike Case

Designed and folded by Mike Case.
Single square of back-coated Thai mango paper.

This is one where the design process was much quicker than the folding. The 22 grapes, which are formed from a hexagonal tessellation and arranged roughly as 2/3 of a circle, are rolled into a cone. This makes for a 3D, 360° bunch of grapes. There is then enough paper left at the top for the stem, leaf, and tendrils.

I'll post a crease pattern for the grape tessellation at some point, but there will never be diagrams for the green bits - they were pretty much improvised.

Credit to my wife for suggesting the hop vines as a good setting for the photograph.
